Not much progress today. But, of course, I do have a real job too. more like surreal job.

But, I can claim some good progress!! I finished the last piece I wanted to do for yogagirlsite. I wanted to make her a favicon ...which I did (it was so easy!!) and now I am going to bill her. I'm also billing hairsalonsite. Paidpersonalsite is done...but being the nice person I am, I volunteered to do some stuff for his businesssite for free (got to stop doing that!!).

I updated my shopping blog. The traffic on that site is steadily going up and up. I am happy about my work on that site. I think alot of it was beginning luck and not knowing what the heck I was doing and just going for it!! ....this weekend I hope to devote entiredly to new affiliate site. As long as bigclient site doesn't rear his ugly head and want his work done now now now!!!

A few months ago, I took a class taught by Darren Rowse of Problogger fame and Andy Wibbels of Easy Bake Weblogs fame. It was a great course. Both Andy and Darren are real stand up guys and I felt like their message was very straight forward and honest. (sometimes there is alot of hype out here in internet land and you don't know WHO to believe) Anyway, the course had tons of information packed into 6 weeks. I'm going to start listening to it again on my ipod at work to keep me motivated. The link is an affiliate link...so I will get a cut if you sign up and take the course.. Six Figure Blogging I will ONLY recommend stuff on this site that I have purchased and tested myself and I will always point out affiliate links when I use them....just so that we're all clear from the get go.

As for updates on my projects.....petstoresite is done, paidpersonalsite is done and hairsalonsite is done. My business site is still NOT done and neither is my photo blog back on line, I did not take a walk, and not much work on my affilaite sites either ...BUT, But, BUT it was really helpful to write out how much time I was going to spend on each site and I think that helped me stay on track. ...of off track as the case may be. I went back to work today and I am having a difficult time staying enthusiastic. I want to quit and do my own business ..but the truth is I AM NOT READY!!! Patience.

I'm sick

and it is getting in the way of me being productive!! I had follow on work for petstoresite which is practically finished.

Tomorrow, I have to do hairsalonsite -- should take 2 hours

paidpersonalsite -- which involves hacking the heck out of coppermine -- should take 3 hours


finish our redesign of our businesssite -- should take 2 hours

then I can work on my affiliate site. (7 hours doesn't sound bad). At least today in all my unproductiveness I had the great idea to do the laundry so at least that won't be interupting me all day tomorrow. I don't have anything important on monday and give myself persmission to stay home sick.

Oh, one more thing I wanted to do was export all the entries out of my old personal blog (moveable type) and import them into a wordpress blog so I can blog photos and stuff again. That will be another 3 or so hours.

Fun fun ...and I must get out for a walk since if I just sit in front of a computer all day everyday I'm going to get old and fat. horrors!! can't have that!!

Friday

Well, today I knocked off work for one client - petstoresite. I'm totally bummed since I severely underestimated part of the job and it took me quite a bit longer than planned. Not sure how many hours I will be able to bill. Doesn't matter, I suppose. Let it go.

I did alot of podcast listening while I was working which was awesome!! Some marketing guy ...where I learned a lot nad some from webmaster world where I also learned a few new tidbits. I really love this whole search engine world.

Tomorrow, first up my business site ...just do it and finish it. Then on to the hairsalonsite. and then the paidpersonalsite.

I've got to make the priority to work on my new affiliate site. Also listened to James Martell buzz thingy. He never really says anything that I don't already know.

Big Thanksgiving Day weekend

I have lots of plans of getting much work done. First I want to make a Favicon for my yogasite client to give her a "free prize inside". Then I need to finish up the petstoresite's updates and changes. Then I need to finish the paidpersonalsite with the photogallery (Copermine) and guestbook. Then I need to finish the hairsalon site. That is many paying clients to finish up!!

Then, on to my affiliate programs. Update and add entries to ggg1 site. Update and add entries to ggg2 site. Finish reading James Martel and write a review for this site. Write a review for sixfigureblogging for this site. more and more!!!
